St. George/Grand Canyon

As all of you might know by now, I'm not very good at keeping up with my blog as of late. It seems as though I just can't find my brain most days and doing anything 'extra' on top of keeping up with the house and kids is still beyond my grasp as a mother. I truly admire any mother, but especially those of you with more then three little yahoos around. How do you do it?

Back in May we took a wonderful trip down South to visit our Utah relatives in St. George. We LOVED spending time with them and getting meet baby Katharine for the first time. We spent lots of time outside and enjoyed every bit of sunshine we could soak up. It was hard to say good-bye but we were all happy to get home to our own beds.

While in St. George we took a day trip to go see the Grand Canyon. I write this in a separate point because it was so magnificent. I LOVED it. I've never been anywhere or seen anything that has taken my breath away quite like seeing it did. It was so beautiful. Pictures just don't do it justice. But here are a few anyways.

Scotia was in love with brass donkey we found inside the hotel at the Grand Canyon. She didn't want to leave it and kept petting it and saying 'hi kitty, hi kitty'. I guess we need to do a little work on her and the different types of animals there are. It was pretty cute.

We had a great trip!
